Modules

Openfield Contact is the application's base module. It is built from the following elements:

  • Contact list and segmentation manager,
  • Customised messages editing interfaces,
  • Delivery engine and
  • Delivery statistics and reporting engine.

Additional modules are available as add-ons to cover more specific requirements:

Hosting and web forms

This module includes a form sources generator, a steps manager and mechanics to control automated subscriber message deliveries. This option lets your team create complete and customised online subscription and profile update forms. In addition, this module includes images hosting, allowing message editors to create a reusable image library. It helps reduce the load on your own server since content delivery is performed by REP Solution Interactive's servers.

Marketing automation

This module is used to create optimized communication scenarios to increase your campaigns' results. The automation engine offers a wide array of functions including message sent in sequence over multiple days or on a specific date (renewals, birthdays, etc.).

Detailed user access rights controls

Openfield Contact offers basic user permissions control letting you assign rights to user based on the application's functions. This advance module adds numerous function to control access based on content: for instance, contact lists can be controlled by contact criterias and separate access can be given to individual data field categories. This module is essential to subdivised organization because it allows multiple departments to share the application while restricting users to the specific content they own or share within their department. The level of control and details offered by this module is unmatched in the industry.

Contests manager

The contests manager was created to allow quick creation of simple contests including references (viral) components and handling drawings and listing of the winners of various prizes. Viral contests let users grant extra chances to referrers. Customisable contest templates are created following your visual requirements and dedicated interfaces let you alter specific content on those templates for each individual contest.

Datamining

Openfield Contact is offered with a high performance segmentation engine to create segments based on all information pertaining to a contact. The feature lets you create groups from criterias like message openings, clicks, administrative information (purchases, subscription, etc.). The Datamining module also allow segmentation to be applied to statistics and reports.

Web services

Web services are application programming interfaces letting various computer systems interact with the REP Solution Interactive applications and remotely perform most operations. These services let you automate list tranfers, contact update, message preparation and sending and most other features offered by the Openfield Contact application.

Relational tables

This module is used to create fully customisable data storage areas within the Openfield Contact application, in which you can upload any type of data (web site tracking data, purchase history, contest data, events attendance, survey responses, and so on). This data is then fully integrated in the contacts profiles to get a full representation of your contacts' histories, and can be used by various other modules, including the Datamining module, to create more detailed groups based on this new information.

Content management

This module is used to create, store and organise various content entries can be used to generate messages that are sent out to your contacts based on various business rules adapted to your needs and to your contacts' preferences. This module let you use information stored in other modules and Openfield application to create content and establish rules.

Post-click tracking

This module gathers information on all actions performed by your contacts on your web site when they got there through a link clicked in a message. A wide array of actions can be tracked beyond simple page visits, including purchased, shopping carts that are discarded, and so on. This information lets you go one step further in impact analysis of your message campaigns.

Workflow (available 2008)

In order to improve teamwork and reduce error risks while producing and delivering messages, this process management module is being integrated in Openfield Contact. It will let user define complete message creation and delivery workflow through a list of actions link to user roles and accountability before the process can be completed.

Documents delivery (available 2008)

This is a documents delivery service used to store documents, host an interactive extranet through which your contacts can retrieve those documents along with various messaging histories, all in a highly structured and secure environment. The system also enables full delivery tracking and accountability for sensitive documents when it is essential to demonstrate delivery, enabling the use of the module for electronic invoicing, receipts, transmission of legal or accounting documents, etc.
